Foxhog CEO Meets Delhi CM Rekha Gupta to Discuss “VC for Villages” – An Interest-Free Debt Solution for Rural India, also extended a hand for Infrastructure Development.

USA-based VC Foxhog Ventures CEO, Tarun Poddar, met with Delhi Chief Minister Smt. Rekha Gupta to deliberate on the initiative “VC for Villages”, a groundbreaking interest-free debt solution aimed at transforming rural India.
The discussion centred on how such a model could empower farmers, dairy owners, and agritech entrepreneurs by providing accessible, interest-free financial support. Mr. Poddar emphasised that the initiative has the potential to be a “game-changer for the nation” by addressing the long-standing credit challenges faced by rural communities.

In addition to debt support, Mr. Poddar also assured cooperation in infrastructure development for agritech, underscoring Foxhog’s commitment to fostering innovation and sustainability in India’s agricultural sector.

Renowned journalist Mr. Deepak Chaurasia also pledged his support to Mr. Poddar’s vision, highlighting the importance of taking such rural funding solutions to the masses.
