Foxhog CEO Tarun Poddar Wins “Excellence in Empowering Rural Entrepreneurs” at the Times Seaboard Summit 2025

Foxhog CEO Tarun Poddar has been awarded the “Excellence in Empowering Rural Entrepreneurs” honour at the Times Seaboard Summit 2025, organised by The Times of India. The award recognises his strong contribution toward supporting rural businesses and improving financial access for entrepreneurs in underserved areas.

During the Fireside Chat, Mr. Poddar shared Foxhog’s key priorities for 2026:
1. Faster FDI Funding for Indian Businesses:

2. More CSP Centres in Rural India:
He announced plans to increase the number of Customer Service Point (CSP) Centres in rural areas to improve financial inclusion and digital access.
3. 30% Growth in the Indian Workforce:
Foxhog aims to grow its workforce in India by 30% to create more employment and strengthen its operations.
4. Finko to Apply for a Banking Licence:
Mr. Poddar also shared that Finko, Foxhog’s lending arm, will soon be applying for a Banking Licence marking a major step in expanding the company’s role in India’s regulated financial sector.
