Bonto Industries raises 4.5 crores from Foxhog

Funding will support capacity expansion and the establishment of additional recycling and manufacturing units across North India

New Delhi, September 7, 2026: Bonto Industries, a family-run recycled packaging manufacturer based in Bawana, Delhi, has raised ₹4.5 crore from venture capital firm Foxhog. The company will deploy the funds to scale its recycling operations, enhance manufacturing capacity and establish additional recycling and production units across North India.

Founded in 1995 by first-generation entrepreneur Radheshyam Aggarwal, Bonto was established at a time when recycled packaging was still an emerging concept in India. Starting from a family workshop in Bawana, Delhi, the company began converting post-consumer materials into usable industrial products.

Over the following three decades, Bonto expanded its product portfolio to include recycled cans, PET and glass bottles, and customised packaging solutions. The company now supplies recycled packaging products to leading FMCG companies, beverage businesses and packaging organisations across India.

Bonto is presently led by Managing Director Rama Agarwal, the granddaughter of founder Radheshyam Aggarwal and the third generation of the Aggarwal family to carry the business forward.

Rama holds a Master’s degree in Business from the London School of Business. Before joining Bonto, she gained professional experience at Parle Agro and with the ESG team at Infosys, developing expertise in sustainable supply chains, environmental accountability and responsible manufacturing.

Under Rama’s leadership, Bonto has strengthened its focus on certified recycled input materials, expanded its range of sustainable packaging products and deepened its relationships with major Indian brands. The company continues to operate according to the principles upon which it was founded: responsible manufacturing, family accountability and long-term customer partnerships.

“This investment represents an important milestone in Bonto’s journey,” said Rama Agarwal, Managing Director of Bonto Industries. “For more than three decades, our family has remained committed to converting discarded materials into useful, high-quality packaging products. The support from Foxhog will allow us to expand our capacity, strengthen our recycling infrastructure and establish additional units across North India while maintaining the quality and accountability associated with the Bonto name.”

The proposed expansion is expected to increase Bonto’s recycling and manufacturing capabilities while bringing its operations closer to customers and sources of recyclable material across North India. The company also intends to strengthen its supply chain, improve operational efficiency and meet growing demand from businesses seeking environmentally responsible packaging alternatives.

Bonto uses 100% recycled input material as a core operating principle. Its products are designed to support circular manufacturing by returning post-consumer material to productive use and reducing dependence on virgin raw materials.

“Bonto combines an established manufacturing legacy with a new generation of sustainability-focused leadership,” said a Foxhog spokesperson. “The company has developed trusted relationships across India’s FMCG, beverage and packaging industries. We believe its expansion can contribute meaningfully to the country’s recycling infrastructure and circular economy.”

Foxhog invests in businesses at different stages of growth and positions itself as a long-term partner to entrepreneurs. The firm’s investment in Bonto reflects its focus on supporting scalable companies operating in high-impact sectors and businesses emerging beyond India’s traditional metropolitan startup ecosystem.

The transaction will enable Bonto to enter its next phase of growth while preserving the values that have guided the company since 1995. Even as it expands, the business intends to remain family-run, purpose-driven and focused on responsible manufacturing.
